Christo Peter Athanas - of Southbridge, Massachusetts, USA - turned 108 on 25 December 2022. He was born in the same place on 25 December 1914 to Albanian immigrant parents Peter Athanas and Karolina Eftian. In 1939, he married Marie Clair Brew, who sadly passed away in 1976. In 1957, he founded a company called Athbro Precision Engineering Corp, and was later hired by NASA in the 1960s to develop the guidance navigation and control system for the Apollo 11 mission, allowing for the first astronauts to land on the Moon.
