The oldest living person in Slovenia, Amalija Mohorčič (née Tomše) – of Slovenska Vas, Brežice – has celebrated her 108th birthday. She was born on 23 April 1918, in Ponikve, Brežice, Austria-Hungary (now Slovenia).
