Ms. Katharina Stahl née Wurtz - of Korntal-Münchingen,  Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany - celebrated her 110th birthday.

She was born on 10 November 1913 and is currently the 18th oldest known living German supercentenarian.

According to some articles, Ms. Stahl was born in Sofia in Bulgaria as ethnical  German-Serb in the Austro-Hungarian Empire (Monarchy).

She gave birth to two daughters and fled after outbreak WWII, lost her daughters for two years in the chaos of the war.

Since she were reunited with her loved daughters after two hard years uncertainty. In this time she says, the invisible bond of preservation ran through this time again and again.
