According to demographic statistics for Ashiya, Hyōgo per 30 September 2026, there is one SC still alive. This is undoubtedly Chihiro Takaoka, which means she has celebrated her 114th birthday.
She was born on 18 September 1912 and is the country's second-oldest living person.
