The oldest person in Antigua and Barbuda has died
Gladys Hodge was born on 20 December 1917 and was the oldest person in the country since 30 April 2022
She was a born-again believer and a member of Villa Nazarene Church since its inception
She was described as a joy to talk to, good-natured and up to date with current events as an avid radio listener
Does anyone know who succeeds her as the oldest person in the country?

Zena Maude Florence Doobay is the oldest known person living in the country now.
She was born in Guyana on 13 May 1920

Hermena Goodwin, born 10 January 1921, who was Antigua's oldest person, died in early October 2025 aged 104.

Zena Doobay, mentioned above, moved to the USA in February 2024 and died there that September.

Victoria "Vickie" Joseph (born 7 December 1921), may be Antigua's new OLP, though she has not been confirmed alive at 104 - last confirmation alive June 2025.

Christopher Browne, Antigua's OLM born on 29 October 1922, died on 17 March 2026 aged 103.

* Almeda King (born 27 July 1923)

* Denzil Cummins (born 17 Sept 1924 in Barbados) - could be new OLM?
