Fukuoka prefecture has released information on its oldest living people. The oldest living person is 112-year-old Haruko Onizuka (鬼塚春子) of Mizukami, who was born on 18 March 1913. Unfortunately, all 110-year-old people reported on last year have entered limbo, as the new numbers two, three, and four are currently 110 years old. (For now, we cannot yet confirm who they are.) In addition, there are ten 109-year-old women. The oldest living man is 106-year-old Naomasa Tomoda (友田直正) of Shime, born on 22 September 1918.

She was born on 1 June 1915. The oldest living man in the prefecture is 107-year-old Kazuo Sasaki (佐々木一男) of Sabae, born on 27 April 1918. In addition to Mrs Miyo Hokonohara, there is a 109-year-old woman alive in the prefecture, as well as two 108-year-old women.
