Update: this person has now been narrowed down to the two following most likely candidates:
- Kane Tanaka (田中かね), born 1897.02.11
- Tsuru Hase (長谷つる), born 1897.05.26

I didn't know there was another supercentenarian named Kane Tanaka. I could be wrong, but it seems like Kane isn't a very common given name in Japan, so I find this surprising.

@mendocino and also I surprised that she was born on 11 February, a date known as Lucile Randon's birthday and Japan's national holiday for foundation day. What a rare coincidence.
