Ms. Maria Martines sadly passed away on 5 April 2024, aged 108 years and 210 days, in Mirabella Imbaccari, Catania, Sicily Region, Italy.

She was born in the same village on 8 September 1915.

She was the 8th OLP in Sicily Region and 78th OLP in Italy.
