Ms. Antônia Rocha Machado of Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Brazil, sadly passed away in on 31 July 2026, at the age of 108 years, 333 days.

Ribeirão Preto is the city where I live.
She is the second person from here whom I recall reaching a milestone age; the first was Elvira Maurno Valladão.

For the Portuguese here, or anyone visiting or planning to visit Portugal: there is a restaurant in Lisbon called Ribeirão Preto.
I’m curious to know if it’s any good—does anyone know it?
I’ve seen some reviews; some people hated it while others loved it—which is normal, since you can't please everyone.
It seems the name was chosen in honor of our city, but the owners aren't actually from here.
