Passed peacefully at North Shore Hospital on 23 April, 2026, at the remarkable age of 108 years, 8 months. Sybil survived her loved husband, Rex. She was the much loved mother and mother-in-law of Murray and the late Pam, of Terry, Ken and Jane, and Neil and Helen; special Nana to Christopher, Antony, Richard, Tristan, Alexandra, Toby, Ben, Josh and Jane; and Great-Nana to Samantha, Cameron, Vaila, Ivy, Emilia, Jessica, Madeleine, Max and Saskia. Also Sybil was treasured by her close friends Pat and Valda and Terry's partner Julie. A celebration was held on 11 May at the Warkworth RSA where she was a life member. We will greatly miss her loving warmth, quick wit, and ready sense of humour.
