The 50th oldest known living person in France, 3rd in Martinique, passed away on 11 December at the age of 109. She was born in Ducos, Martinique, on 22 June 1914.

Article (France-Antilles Martinique)

Émilie was known as the daughter of a verified supercentenarian, Irène Célica Corlet (1893-2005), who lived to be 112 years and 13 days. Sadly, we won't have this new pair of mother-daughter SCs next year.

My condolences to her family.

Rest in peace, Ms. Émilie Lagin (1914-2023).

Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)
