Mr. Johannes Theunisse of Dordrecht, South Holland (NLD) sadly passed away on 6 December 2025, aged 109.
He was born on 24 September 1916.
At the time of his death, he was the Doyen of the Netherlands.

He is the 7th oldest Dutch man in history.
He remained the oldest living man in the Netherlands for 138 days (since July 21, 2025), the shortest time since Jacob Berg, who held the title between March 21, 2016, and July 5, 2026 (106 days).
He died at 109 years and 73 days old, the youngest to die in that position since Jan Willem van de Kamp, who died at 107 years and 14 days old on May 31, 2017.
He is the 14th man from South Holland to be the oldest in the Netherlands, the first since Floor van Cleemputte, who died on May 20, 2015.
