Ms. Federica Tschernig of Castagneto Carducci, Livorno, Tuscany Region (ITA) sadly passed away on 6 July 2026, aged 109 y. and 273 d.
She was born on 6 October 1916 in Althofen, Carinthia, Austria.
At the time of her death, she was the 4th OLP in Tuscany and 23rd OLP in Italy.

She was the oldest living emigrant from Austria; her successor is now
Johann Weninger, born on August 18, 1918, in Vienna and living in Germany.
In fact, his birthday was yesterday.
