Ms. Astrid Qvist, the oldest living person in Finland and the Nordic countries, sadly passed away on 18 July 2022, aged 110 years, 134 days old. She was born on 6 March 1912.
She became the oldest known living person in the Nordic Countries, following the death of Flarid Lagerlund of Sweden on 9 April 2022.
Ms. Qvist has lived in the last years at the same retirement home as her daughter, in Narpes, Ostrobothnia (FIN).
