Ms. Hide Hamabe, 10th oldest known person in the world, 5th oldest in Japan and the oldest person in Miyazaki pr., sadly passed away on 10 January 2023 in Ebino City, Miyazaki pr. (JPN) at the age of 114 years, 38 days. She was born in the same city on 3 December 1908. She has been the oldest person in Miyazaki Prefecture since September 2020.
