Sad news for the last day of the year 😭 😭 😭 😭
Mr. Tripolino Giannini of Cecina, Livorno, Tuscany Region, Italy, sadly passed away today at 9.30 a.m. at 111 years and 133 days.
He was born in the same town on 20 August 1912.
He was the 9th OLP in Italy and the Doyen of Italy.
In the history of italian longevity, he was one of the 10 man who reached his 111th birthday in Italy.
Riposa in pace Nonno Tripolino.

Molto triste...
Mr. Tripolino Giannini of Cecina may rest in eternal peace. He was one of my favourite SCs.
I won´t forget the man with the beautiful and rare given name.

Very sad that both of the Italian men born in 1912 have died in two consecutive months. Every month since September there has been the death of a 112+ woman or 111+ man in Italy, including the doyenne and doyen. Let's hope the two remaining women from 1910 and Mr. Cicora can be here for a while
