Ms. Tranquilina Urrutia Roque of Mexico sadly passed away yesterday 17 March 2024, at the age of 111, in Valerio Trujano, Oaxaca, Mexico.
She was born on 6 July 1912 and she was the oldest living person in Mexico and the last mexican person born in 1912.

Tranquilina was the oldest in Mexico for 73 days, the shortest time since we have reliable data in Mexico (2016), before the shortest time was 181 days for Angela Diaz Millan (21 Apr 2022-19 Oct 2022), I died with the shortest age also as the oldest in Mexico since we have reliable data, (Ângela Diaz Milan was the youngest before too, at 112 years, 173 days) and was the first person from Oaxaca to be the oldest in Mexico since we have data trustworthy
She was the 20th oldest person in the history of Mexico (includes those not validated as well, validated was the 4th)
Her successor Eulalia Bravo Bravo is the 35 oldest in the history of Mexico (validated is 5)
