Mrs Aya Umeda (梅田あや) of Tatsuno, Hyōgo, Japan died around 18 September 2025, aged 111 years and circa 143 days. She was born on 28 April 1914.
On 21 September 2025, the city of Tatsuno announced the death of its oldest resident.
