Mrs Shizuko Kiyuna (喜友名靜子) of Chatan, Okinawa, Japan died on 14 September 2025 at the age of 113 years and 96 days. She was born in the same municipality on 10 June 1912, and at the time of her death was the oldest living person in the prefecture (as well as the last surviving person born in the Meiji era in that prefecture).

May she rest in peace.

The prefecture confirms that 110-year-old Uto Toyosato (豊里ウト) of Naha, born in October 1914, is her successor.

Source.

Overduidelijk misschien.
