Barbara Isabella Quenda, a resident of Condove, Piedmont, Italy, passed away on 11 April, at the age of 110 years, 128 days, according to ValsusaOggi.

Barbara Isabella Quenda was born in Almese, Piedmont, on 4 December 1915. She spent most of her life in Condove. She married Angelo Martoia, with whom she had a son Enrico in 1936. Her husband worked as a livestock dealer, while she ran a butcher shop—first in San Giorio and later in Condove, on Via Francesco Re. After retiring, she spent about twenty years on the Ligurian Riviera, remaining there until the age of 97 or 98, even after becoming a widow.

On 17 February 2026, following the passing of 113-year-old Maria Carmela Ricci, she became the oldest living person in the region of Piedmont.

She is the 218th oldest person in Italian history.
She is the 13th oldest person in Piedmont history.
She held the title of oldest person in Piedmont for 53 days, from February 17, 2026, and is the person who held that title for the shortest time; before her, it was Vincenzina Proteo (December 19, 2020 - February 27, 2021, 70 days).
She died at 110 years, 128 days, the youngest since Gaudenzio Nobilique died at 109 years, 293 days on November 14, 2021.
She is the first person from Condove to be the oldest in Piedmont.
