Ms. Elizabeth Ramshaw of Osage City, Kansas, USA sadly passed away on 6 June 2026, at the age of 110 years and 75 days old.
She was born in Osage County, Kansas, USA on 23 March 1916.
Rest in peace.

Elizabeth Ramshaw, the Oldest Person in Kansas, USA, Dies at 110
Elizabeth Ramshaw, the oldest living person in the U.S. state of Kansas, passed away on 6 June, at the age of 110 years, 75 days, according to the Wakarusa Presbyterian Church.
Elizabeth Ramshaw was born on 23 March 1916 in Osage County, Kansas, as the eighth of nine children born to John Dickerhoof and Lula Belle Thompson. She graduated from eighth grade at Farmersville Grade School, and worked for several years at the Lyndon Café with her sister, Helen Goldsmith.
She met George Ramshaw, and they were married on 8 March 1941. The couple had one child – a son, Ray (b. 1944), and lived most of their lives on the farm south of Michigan Valley. Elizabeth and George retired from the farm in 1992, and moved into Lyndon.
Following the passing of Dorothy Maxine Poppen (22 February 1916 – 12 August 2025), she became the oldest known living person in Kansas.

She is the fifth-oldest person born in 1916 to die to date.
She was the sister of Nellie Martin (born Feb. 25, 1909; died Jan. 10, 2015); their combined age was 216 years and 29 days, ranking 120th in history for the combined age of sisters.
She was the 75th-oldest living person in the USA.
She was the 247th-oldest living person in the world.
