Ms. Haruko Shigeoka (重岡ハル子) of Miyako Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, has sadly passed away around June 13, 2026, at the age of 110. She was born on March 3, 1916.
Rest in peace Ms. Shigeoka.

As of September 2023, she was 107 years old, the oldest living person in the town, and had been honored for it.
