Ms. Haruko Shigeoka (重岡ハル子) of Miyako Town, Fukuoka Prefecture, has sadly passed away around June 13, 2026, at the age of 110.
Rest in peace Ms. Shigeoka.

As of September 2024, she was 108 years old, the oldest living person in the town, and had been honored for it. (She is the woman pictured in the sixth photo of the following post. From the picture, it can be seen that she was born in 1916.)
