Maria de Lourdes Dias, a resident of Lagarto, Sergipe, Brazil, passed away today, at the age of 110 years, 153 days.
Maria de Lourdes Dias was born at a locality called Angola Cachorro, in Lagarto, Sergipe, on 21 February 1916. She married in 1933 and had children.
At the time of her passing, she was the oldest known resident of the state of Sergipe. The state’s all-time longevity record holder was Maria Alaide Menezes, who died in March 2025, at the age of 112 years, 268 days.
