Brazilian Woman Nair Dias Dies at 111
Nair Dias, a resident of Campanha, Minas Gerais, Brazil, passed away today, 31 May, at the age of 111 years, 195 days.
Nair Dias was born in Campanha, on 17 November 1914. Dias was born to Joaquim Messias Dias (died 18 January 1976) and Anna Augusta da Fonseca (died 27 February 1920). She had one sibling from this union, Lígia Fonseca Dias (1919-1983). Her father remarried on 5 July 1922, and Nair gained half-siblings from this union. She was employed at the Post Office.
As of her 111th birthday, she lived with her two living half-sisters; Maria Olinda Marcondes Dias (b. 13 September 1925) and Lydia Marcondes Dias (b. 23 May 1929).
