A legendary Italian actress Gina Lollobrigida sadly passed away today in Rome (ITA), aged 95. She was born in Subiaco, Rome (ITA) on 4 July 1927.
Gina was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. She mostly acted in Italian movies. She received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the National Italian American Foundation in 2008.
On 1 February 2018, Ms. Lollobrigida received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Her aunt Chelidonia Merosi vid. Lollobrigida (11 October 1883 – 10 December 1995) was a validated Italian supercentenarian.

I was related to her in a way, maybe because she had such a long lived aunt which was Doyenne of Italy too. But still she lived a long time too, 95 years is no joke.
