It was posted by a relative on Instagram in February 2023, but I don't know if it was actually taken then.

I would prefer new photos to be added to the SC’s individual threads (and then I will edit my post here) so this thread doesn’t become several pages
I added the new photos of Baccarini, Camacho Quiros, and Matsubara
According to the new article Claudia’s husband was the mayor of her town so her and Marita are both “first ladies” to an extent

Wow, I must say I'm pleasantly surprised by the last photo of Fusa Tatsumi with her eyes open.
She looks better than in any other photo, completely exceeds my expectations.
I think we have a pretty strong TOP 10 for now, I wouldn't be surprised if the age bubble we had in 2020 returns.

There are public photos for Chiyo Yamamoto available. 🙂 (I will not post them here, though, seeing she prefers anonymity.)
And for Fumie Matsuda there are more photos available (LQ biography), but those are older.

Following Nobu Kōno’s validation by LQ, she has been added here and Henriqueta Soares Marques has been removed as she is no longer in the top 50
Interestingly there are three 112+ people living in Kanagawa, Yokohama (Nobu Kono, Fuji Takashima, and Masa Matsumoto)

With all of the validated cases in this list, Sonobe is actually in 51st place meaning there are no men in the top 50

Well that aged quickly
And there is only one person born in 1911 that isn't on here yet - Fuyo Kishimoto, who was in LQ's first YouTube video
(Kishimoto is now on the list following Taira's death)
(1912 has now entered the list following Doan's death)
October 2024: I have changed it back to 25 so I don't have to worry about updating it as much
