A distant cousin of mine, Edward Flint Walcott, was born on June 2, 1830 in Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, and passed away on January 11, 1938 in Everett, Massachusetts at the age of 107 years, 223 days. There is a lot of documentation supporting his age. I hope Mr. Walcott’s age can be validated. He would have been the world’s oldest person at the time of his death being 3 years older than Anna Wheeler.

A wonderful achievement for those times Charlesm09.
Charles, you could reach out to Guinness World Records, as he was a WOP candidate and you have lots of documentation supporting his age 🙂

When the young commander of the guard declared his love for her, she rejected him simply because his frivolity startled her. "See how simple he is," she told Amaranta. "He says that he’s dying because of me, as if I were a bad case of colic."
