Recently the oldest living state leader died.
He was César Yanes Urias born on April 24, 1920 and died on December 4, 2024, he was a member of the Government Junta, which governed El Salvador from October 26, 1960 to January 25, 1961 and was also a member of the Salvadoran naval forces
He was now succeeded by Guillermo Antonio Rodríguez Lara who was dictator of Ecuador from February 15, 1972 to January 11, 1976 and was born on November 4, 1923

Today we had the sad news of the death of Arnold Yarrow born on 17 April 1920, best known for his brief role as Jewish bricklayer Benny Bloom in the soap opera EastEnders. Like the character, he is Jewish, also known for appearing in Doctor Who playing the diminutive leader of Exxilon, Bellal, in the 1974 series Death to the Daleks, being the oldest living actor to appear in Doctor Who, as well as several others roles
Now the distinction of oldest living actor, as far as I know, goes to Ray Anthony (20 Jan 1922), who despite being best known for being a musician, had a brief career as an actor

Filmography Arnold Yarrow: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0946531/?ref_=fn_all_nme_1

Filmography Ray Anthony: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0030989/

Edit: I don't know why the links aren't working, I'll put the Wikipedia link here

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/C%C3%A9sar_Yanes_Ur%C3%ADas (Cesar Yanes)

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arnold_Yarrow (Arnold Yarrow) (His death has not yet been reported by the press, but confirmed by a relative who lives in Israel on Facebook)

Just a correction, the oldest known living actor would be Georg Stefan Troller (AUT 10 Dec 1921), he is best known as a director and author, but also appeared as an actor in a few films

Imdb: https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0873429/

Caren Marsh Doll (born 6 April 1919) is actually the oldest living former actor (or rather, actress). Georg Troller is the oldest male actor though.

@rutzqwezex

I think she is the fourth after María Cristina Camilo (25 December 1917), Elisabeth Waldo (18 June 1918) and Maj-Britt Håkansson (29 March 1919).

In November 2023, the last German who served in Einsatzgruppe C also died (since 2021 he is suspected of being the last) and was accused of being involved in the massacre of tens of thousands of Jews in Ukraine, an extremely sad moment in world history that It should never have happened, but unfortunately it is part of history
His name was Herbert Wahler and he was born on 10 Dec 1921 and died in Melsungen at the age 101 years
In March 2020, the Kassel Public Prosecutor's Office announced that Wahler would not face charges due to a lack of evidence
His death was only discovered this week. He claimed that he only helped the injured

With the sad death of Agnes Keleti, the oldest living Olympic medalist, this title now passes to Charles Coste, a French cyclist born in Ollioules. He won a gold medal in the team pursuit at the 1948 Summer Olympics, and is also the oldest living Olympic champion.

Jimmy Carter was the oldest president of the USA (ruled between 77 and 81), now it is Bill Clinton who ruled between 93-2001 (not the oldest in terms of age, but the one who was elected for the longest time) and the oldest governor old man from Georgia (ruled between 1971 and 1975), who is now Joseph Franklin Harris, born in 1936, and ruled Georgia between 1983 and 1991 (again, not I'm saying in terms of age, but who was elected the longest ago)
