As part of my study of American Civil War veterans who lived into the 1940s or claimed centenarian status (a project currently on hiatus), there were a few semisupercentenarians I was able to validate that can be added to early centenarian lists. Some of them were already validated by others but I included them for completeness.

Levi Wildman (March 30, 1839 - May 21, 1945), age 106

David Newton Yeary (October 28, 1839 - January 8, 1945), age 105 - Mr. Yeary claimed birth in 1840

Valentine Harrison Scrivner (July 4, 1841 - February 16, 1947), age 105

Daniel Augustus Wedge (October 26, 1841 - October 26, 1947), age 106

John Thomas Graves (January 1, 1842 - May 9, 1950), age 108

Joseph Sylvester Rue (May 10, 1842 - May 9, 1948), age 105 - Mr. Rue claimed birth in 1843

James Wilson Smith (July 18, 1842 - March 22, 1951), age 108

Michael Joseph Thralls (January 16, 1843 - November 30, 1950), age 107

William Henry Osborn (May 7, 1843 - October 28, 1948), age 105

James Albert Hard (July 15, 1843 - March 12, 1953), age 109 - Mr. Hard claimed birth in 1841

Robert McKee Rownd (October 22, 1843 - May 17, 1949), age 105 - Mr. Rownd claimed birth in 1844

Sarah Frances Rockwell (October 25, 1843 - November 23, 1953), age 110 - Mrs. Rockwell claimed birth in 1844, nurse

Douglas Thomas Story (November 24, 1844 - April 22, 1952), age 107

William Albert Kiney (February 10, 1846 - June 23, 1953), age 107 - Mr. Kiney claimed birth in 1843

Lansing Alphonse Wilcox (March 3, 1846 - September 29, 1951), age 105

John Asbury Hutchison (March 14, 1846 - March 18, 1951), age 105

Albert Woolson (February 11, 1850 - August 2, 1956), age 106 - Mr. Woolson claimed birth in 1847

There is also Walter Washington Williams (November 14, 1854 - December 19, 1959), age 105 (claimed 117), but his claim to having been a forager is impossible to verify or disprove so I didn't include him in the dataset. His age of 105 is validated, however.

In total, at least 29 veterans of the American Civil War lived to 105+. There's a few other veterans whose claimed birthdates I was unable to verify because I didn't have any info on their early life (George Slate, Charles Munford, Jeremiah Patrick O'Brien, Patrick O'Leary, etc.) so I couldn't locate early life documentation for them.
