Arpadne Juhasz was born on 14 May 1914 in Gyor, Gyor-Moson-Sopron County, Austria-Hungary (present-day Hungary).
At some point she got married and had a daughter. She worked as an assistant to the doctor at the Richards factory in Győr for decades, up until her retirement in 1970.
At the age of 97, she moved into a nursing home. At the age of 100, she commented that she always loved to exercise and that even then, when the weather was good, she would still walk 1-1.5 kilometers. At the time, she had two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.
On 17 December 2022, following the passing of 111-year-old Istvánné Fejes, she became the oldest (known) living resident of Hungary.
As of January 8, 2025, she lives in Gyorujbarat, Gyor-Moson-Sopron County, Hungary.

Today, Árpádné Juhász ties Rezső Gallai (1904-2014) at the age of 110 years, 239 days, to become the all-time recordholder for Győr-Moson-Sopron County, and the 7th-oldest known person ever in Hungary.

Today, Árpádné Juhász ties Rezső Gallai (1904-2014) at the age of 110 years, 239 days, to become the all-time recordholder for Győr-Moson-Sopron County, and the 7th-oldest known person ever in Hungary.

Her age was verified by Tamás Bényei, and validated by LongeviQuest on 17 December 2025.
She is the Oldest Validated Person living or dead in Hungary.

Árpádné Juhász, today (or maybe yesterday), at the age of 111 years and 217 days:
This is the first public photo since her 111th birthday. It's good to see she still participates in a few of her care facility's events (this time, they received Christmas greetings and postcards from university students). Best wishes to her!

Also, Terézia Árpádné Juhász has been the oldest known living person in Hungary for exactly three years. If she really gained the title upon Erzsébet Istvánné Fejes' (1911-2022) death on 17 December 2022, she's the first OLP to reach this anniversary since Katalin Istvánné Vojcek (1868-1977), who 'reigned' between Terézia Alajosné Duronelly's (1866-1974) death on 4 May 1974 and her own death on 24 May 1977. However, based on the Pension Insurance Office's data, it's very likely Fejes was succeeded by a yet unidentified SC born in 1910.
Edit: actually, Henrik Havasi (1882-1990) held the title for more than three years between 13 September 1987 and 8 November 1990.
