John Alfred Tinniswood was born on 26 August 1912 and is oldest man in Europe, and third-oldest man in the world
Mr. Tinniswood has become the 4th-oldest person in the UK after the death of Edna Strickland
I would say that out of everyone, he has "benefitted" the most from the recent collapse, having become the oldest man in Europe and now moved up a rank in his own country
John Tinniswood is now the only living person born on 26 August 1912
He as lost his "'twin" Catherine van der Linden.
We appear to still have shared birthdate in 1911 and 1912 - with apparently.
Two from 10 Aug 1911
Two from 6 Nov 1911
Two from 20 Feb 1912
Three from 26 Mar 1912
And two from 1 Oct 1912.

It should be noted that Mabel also had a birthday twin, Francisca Mangonez Martinez who is pending by LAS, and Pearl was born on the same day as Shina Seki who died last April. Louise Levy and Kikuyo Honma were also born on the same day and died two months apart from each other (a two-month period with no deaths before 1911, I wish that could happen again)
So oldest "birthday twins" now are:
Aline Blain and Yuki Nitta
Ines Sommovigo and Gisaburo Sonobe
Ruth Stryzewski and Antonia Manzi (and formerly Merle O'Hara)
Kulzhamilya Akhmedyanova (not validated) and Shinako Hayashi
Mary Petrosky and M.L.
Several more from 1913 including Annina Lippolis and Flora Wallin who share Pearl and Jimmy Carter's birthday
Mr. Tinniswood was visited by Guinness World Records today, who gave him his certificate as the world’s oldest man.

Since I said this, both of the people born on 6 November 1911 died, both in March 2024, and Antonia Manzi
