Hélène Alagapin, the oldest living person in the French overseas department of Réunion, celebrated her 109th birthday in Saint-Denis on 6 July, according to Linfo.re.
Hélène Alagapin was born on 6 July 1917.
On 5 August 2025, following the passing of 109-year-old Raymonde Mary Georges, she became the oldest known living resident of Réunion.
