Greetings everyone,
we are very pleased to announce that we will now begin to collect wishes for Ethel Caterham’s upcoming 117th birthday! As was the case with her 116th, Ethel’s 117th marks the first time a British person will celebrate such a birthday!
Please send in your wishes, creations such as pic collages/your own personal drawings etc … anything you like to make her happy on her special day.
You can send your wish here in a comment or if you prefer you can send your wish in a private message to myself. You can also email your wish to me at [email protected] or to Georg Fürholzer at [email protected] or to Ben Hinchliffe at [email protected]
The wish collection is also open on The 110 Club, LongeviQuest Top 10 Facebook Group.
IMPORTANT: the deadline for the collection is 9 a.m. GMT 14th August 2026. All wishes will then be collated and sent to Ethel in time for 21st August.
PLEASE include your name rather than username and your country/city at the end of your message as it will mean far more to Ethel and her family/care team to know where in the world her wishes are from. This may mean you prefer to send your wish privately to us. If you don’t include your name and country… your wish WILL NOT be included in the collection.
We look forward to seeing everyone’s wishes and creations in the coming days!

Please accept my very best wishes and congratulation on your birthday today. The age of 117 is a magnificent milestone which has been achieved by so very few people in history. I follow your progress and achievements regularly and take wonderful pleasure in seeing all of the longevity records you continue to set.
