Mrs. Dominga Coca García - of Santiago, Chile - celebrated her claimed 115th birthday on Thursday, although her age is debunked. Happy birthday Mrs. Coca García!
Photos taken on her birthday:
Interested in supercentenarians since 27 July 2018.
First supercentenarian I learned about: Kane Tanaka (1903-2022)
We don't know her actual birthday, though, since she uses her older sister's DOB. We can only assume she was born around 1916/1917 because of the births of her siblings, but we won't know when in the year she was actually born until we find her baptismal record.

It would be very interesting if she is still alive in a few years. Has that ever happened before, where an SC gets debunked as a centenarian but ends up becoming an SC anyways?
Happy Birthday Mrs. Dominga Coca (-Cola, like Kane Tanaka’s favorite drink) Garcia

Rosa Brown (1899-2009) initially claimed a birth year of 1890. She survived years after her debunking and became an actual supercentenarian.

And the recently validated Brazilian man born in 1913 claims to be born in 1908, and he's been known about since 2019, although he wasn't actually documented until this year.
Not a supercentenarian, but there's a Mexican SC claim who was debunked back in 2019 who recently turned 108 for real, meaning she's finally old enough for LAS.
I imagine there's at least a few more examples of this.

Irene Eskey (1910-2022) also comes to mind, debunked in 2017 while claiming a birth year of 1906 and ultimately lived to be 111.
Susie Brunson claimed to be 123 when she died, research suggests that she was 111.
