@dejan I don't know where you got the idea that Willie Rogers was born in 1908. He was likely born in 1910. He's not listed with either of his parents (both of whom were still single) in the 1910 census, but is listed as age 10 in 1920 and as age 19 in 1930. So he was likely born on October 27, 1910.

@sailor-haumea Source (This), also I copied this from here (Link) I didn't check anything, I just copied from the cited source... I noticed that his date of birth varies from 1908 to 1910 (if it cannot be determined, we should take something in between, which is 1909).

While looking into Bettie Wilson, I noticed that she had a surviving sister-in-law and brother-in-law named in her obituary. The sister-in-law (Faye Williams of Rockford, Illinois) lived to be 88 per the SSDI (August 25, 1920 - August 15, 2009), but the brother-in-law, Roma Wilson of Detroit, lived to be 107!

@dejan That's a poor way to conduct research. Him not being listed in the 1910 census shows that he with all likelihood wasn't born before then. You can't just average out his claimed date and a likely proven date of birth.

In his obituary it is written in 1908 (Maybe he was only 1 year old in 1910, so he is not listed in the census), that is, maybe children were not included in the census at that time. .I wonder how his mother's age is "validated" and her son's date of birth is unknown.

Bettie Rutherford did not even marry until 1919, after she had already had all three of her children with her husband Rufus Rogers (Willie, Eunice, and Inez). Both Bettie and Rufus are recorded as unmarried in their respective 1910 censuses. I don't know why they waited to marry until after all three of their children had been born, though...

@ale76 the full date of his birth is required (the date of death is required only if the person died before the parents). So in this case, the name of her 90-year-old son and the full date of birth are needed.

I found in the article bellow that Iréna Martial had a daughter that was 91 years old two years ago, and should be, if still alive, 93 years old now. I sadly don't have more details about her name nor informations regarding the date of birth...

I just found out that Ollie Bay's (11 November 1872 - 31 December 1985) daughter Sadie Doyle (29 December 1889 - 28 April 1997) was 96 years and 2 days old when her mother died, meaning she was possibly the all-time recordholder in this category at the time.
She went on to live to the age of 107 years, 120 days; combining that with her mother's final age of 113 years, 50 days, we get a total age of 220 years, 170 days for this mother-daughter pair, which means they're in the top 10 in that category as well.
And considering Ollie's mother Sarah Babock (6 August 1840 - 23 June 1940) died only a few weeks short of 100, we get the second-oldest known grandparent-parent-(grand)child trio with 320 years, 127 days (known recordholder is the Eugenia Morrisette - Delvina Dahlheimer - John Merlin Dahlheimer trio with 320 years, 245 days).
