Ms. Elizabeth Francis of Houston, Texas (USA) turned 114.ย
She was born in St. Mary Parish, Louisiana (USA) on 25 July 1909.
She is currently the second-oldest validated living person in the United States (after Ms. Ceccarelli), and the third-oldest validated living American-born person (after Ms. Branyas Morera and Ceccarelli). Since the death of Ms. Makishi on 4 July 2023, Ms. Francis has been the seventh-oldest validated living person in the world.
