She was born on 21 April 1911 in Porto Alegre, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. Her father was an immigrant from Murcia, Spain. Her mother was a local Afro-Brazilian woman. 

She is the 3rd known OLP in Brazil.

At the moment, she is the oldest (validated) living person in the State of Paraná (BRA).
