Frida Bischof Ferreira de Carvalho, São Paulo’s Oldest Resident, Turns 112
Frida Bischof Ferreira de Carvalho, the oldest living person in São Paulo, Brazil, celebrated her 112th birthday in Assis.
Frida Bischof Ferreira de Carvalho was born on Figueira Farm in São Manuel, São Paulo, on 31 August 1914. She was one of six children. Her father, José Bischof, was from Austria, while her mother, Isabel Diehl Bischof, was from Piracicaba, São Paulo. She worked as a teacher.
Her age was verified by Iara Souza and Gabriel Ainsworth, and validated by LongeviQuest on 31 October 2025.
On 6 July 2026, following the passing of 114-year-old Maria Jorge Esteves de Almeida, she became the oldest known living person in São Paulo.
