Anísio Rodrigues Alves (30 Dec 1892 – 16 Aug 2009) is documented. He was never included on LAS because we weren't able to check for siblings, but I still think his case deserves to be mentioned.

Very good, @Mendocino! If one day his siblings will be checked and identity switch hypothesis will be excluded, would Mr. Rodrigues Alves' case be considered completely verified?

While his case would definitely require a lot of scrutiny due to its significance, the documentation that's been found for him would probably be sufficient for validation if we can prove that there weren't any other brothers named Anísio born after 1892. The amount of proof his case has already makes a sibling swap very unlikely, but considering that he'd be the oldest man in recorded history, a lot of research is required to be certain.

This one is a long way down the track, and full credit to all those involved.
The bar has to be set very high for this one, as noted above,…. So we wait and hope.
What an immense validation this one may be one day.
As a matter of interest, has any detailed work been possible in respect of his siblings yet?
