The oldest living person in Ōsakikamijima, Hiroshima is a 109-year-old man, who is presumably the oldest living man in the prefecture.

There are two 110-year-old women in Fukuyama, Hiroshima, the oldest of whom is Kaoru Kodera (小寺カヲル), who was born in November 1914. (The other woman was born in March 1915.) In addition, there are three 109-year-old women (Jan, Mar, and June 1916), as well as a 108-year-old man (Mar 1917).

The oldest living person in Tokushima City, Tokushima is a 108-year-old woman born in February 1917.

The oldest living people in Takamatsu, Kagawa are two 109-year-old people, of whom Yone Kunida (國田ヨネ) is the oldest, born in January 1916. These two women are numbers 4 and 5 in the prefecture.

The oldest living person in Amami, Kagoshima is a 106-year-old woman.

Credits to Straycat from the 110 Club: the oldest living person in Yawatahama, Ehime is a 109-year-old man. This obviously concerns Shigezō Kōno (河野重三), born on 31 March 1916, who is also the oldest living man in the prefecture.

After Ms. Furuhashi's death, Hamamatsu City reported the new oldest living person in the city became 110-year-old Ms. Komatsu Kawai (河合こまつ), (b. 1914.12.2) of Hamana Ward.
The oldest living man in the city is 107-year-old Mr. Masaichi Ichikawa (市川政一), (b. 1918.2.7) of Tenryū Ward.

On September 19, 2025, prefectural officials visited 109-year-old Ms. Akino Hirano of Mihama Town, the oldest living person in Wakayama Prefecture, and presented her with a commemorative gift. According to reports, she is hard of hearing, but is doing well, using a walker to walk and write.

Another article on Ayako Kyōtani (京谷綾子) of Yokohama, Kanagawa. In this article, she is explicitly identified as the oldest living person in the prefecture. She turns 112 tomorrow.

Mrs Tomeo Yamazaki (山﨑留尾) of Tsu, Mie was visited on 21 September 2025. Aged 107, born in November 1917, she is the oldest living woman in the city (but not the oldest living person).

Mrs Hideyo Katō (加藤秀代) of Sanda, Hyōgo, 109 years old, was born in late 1915.

The oldest living person in Onomichi, Hiroshima, is a 110-year-old woman. This means last year's oldest living person, born in December 1913, has entered limbo. The oldest living man in the city is 109 years old; in other words, I cannot say which of the two 109-year-old men in the prefecture is the oldest.

The oldest living person in Gunma prefecture is 111-year-old Oiku Hashimoto (橋本オイク) of Ōra, born on 25 June 1914. The oldest living man in the prefecture is 107-year-old Yoshio Satō (佐藤吉雄) of Nakanojō, born on 25 May 1918.

Mrs Fumi Kaneko (金子フミ) of Yurihonjō, Akita died on 5 September 2025, aged 109. She was one of the two 109-year-olds reported by Akita prefecture.

Mrs Oiku Hashimoto (橋本オイク) of Ōra, Gunma, aged 111, born on 25 June 1914, the oldest living person in the prefecture, was visited on 19 September 2025.

Mrs Michi Kudō (工藤ミチ) of Eniwa, Hokkaidō, aged 111, born on 9 February 1914, the oldest living person in the prefecture, was visited on 12 September 2025. Also see the video report, minutes 2:30 to 3:50.

The oldest living person in Kawasaki, Kanagawa is a 109-year-old woman. As mentioned before, there are two 108-year-old men living in the city as well.

The oldest living person in Gojōme, Akita is a 105-year-old woman.

The oldest living person in Tokushima prefecture is 109-year-old Asa Kawanishi (川西アサ) of Miyoshi, born on 14 December 1915. The oldest living man in the prefecture is 105-year-old Saburō Hasegawa (⾕川三郎) of Tokushima City, born in March 1920. Tokushima prefecture is one of the few prefectures that saw a (small) drop in the number of centenarians.
