Rest in peace, Nina Willis.

Her death is the oldest death in the world since Lucile Randon's death, and the first death of top 10 living people in the world since Yasue Okai on 6 February 2023, it feels quite long, exactly 100 days ago.

Sad news, though not surprising considering she’s looked frail for quite a while. Rest in peace, Nina Willis.

Nina Willis and her brother who passed away at age 109 are the oldest ever known brother-sister pair.

Thanks for the high level details here Sonicbox.

For the record it looks like Bethuel Frazier made 109-20, whilst Nina made 114-123.

So a combined total of 223-143.

Presumably they weren’t related to Frederick Frazier and his age of 113-138.

Rest in peace, Nina Willis.

@chrisr Frederick was of German descent, while this family is Afro-American, so they're definitely not closely related.
