Mrs. Amelia Addari of Nuragus, South Sardinia, Sardinia Region (ITA) sadly passed away today aged 112 years and 117 days.
She was born in Genoni, South Sardinia, Sardinia Region (ITA) on 25 March 1912.
She was the 4th OLP in Italy and the Doyenne of Sardinia Region.
She and her sister Giovanna are among the top 10 oldest known siblings ever.

Very sad news, I was browsing the oldest siblings lists just a few hours ago... the oldest European siblings ever (i.e. both siblings living in the geographical Europe) have now reunited.

She was the 18th oldest living person in Europe. The oldest person in Sardinia now becomes Luigia Mercalli, born on 17 Feb 1915 and the 39th oldest living person in Italy and becomes the 2nd region with the oldest living person. new in Italy.The 4th oldest person in history born in Sardinia and the 3rd oldest in history to die there.She is the 197th oldest person in the history of Europe and died at the same age as Annie Butler (GBR) (4 June 1897-28 Sept 2009)
