Ms. Isabelle Margeson sadly passed away in Sun City West, Arizona (USA) on 1 July 2025, at the age of 110 years, 311 days.
Following the death of Carmen Slough on 27 April 2024, she became the oldest known living person in Arizona. Upon her own passing, she was succeeded by Rachel Miles.
She was born in Connecticut, USA, on 24 August 1914.
She was a longtime member of the Palo Verde Patchers quilting group, which she joined in 1981. Widely recognized for her quilting talent, sense of humor, and kindness, she remained active in the community well into her 100s. In August 2022, the Patchers celebrated her 108th birthday with cake and song.

Bobbie Miles is now the oldest living person in Arizona, born on June 7, 1915.
She is the 9th oldest person in Arizona history.
She died at the same age as
Rosa Rader, March 27, 1879 - February 1, 1990, USA.
Hilda Lacroix, January 27, 1899 - December 4, 2009, USA.
Rosa Dantzler, December 25, 1911 - November 1, 2022, USA.
