Ms. Yoshi Moriya of Izu, Shizuoka pr. (JPN) sadly passed away on 9 November 2025, aged 112.

She was born in Japan on 18 March 1913.

On 1 September 2025, following the passing of 112-year-old Hide Endō of Shizuoka City, Ms. Moriya became the oldest living person in Shizuoka Prefecture.

Her age was validated by LongeviQuest on 9 September 2025.

Following her death, the oldest living person in Shizuoka Prefecture became the oldest living man in Japan, Kiyotaka Mizuno, while the oldest living woman in the prefecture is now Tama Ōishi.
