I'm pretty excited for Mr. Garcia's 113th birthday tomorrow! I hope he is doing well. And I hope there's some new pictures of him! I noticed he is one of the SCs who we haven't seen new pictures of in quite a while.

Mendocino has found out that a brother of Efraín Antonio, named Francisco Luis lived to the age of 106 (1 October 1904 – 29 April 2011).
Together, they're currently the fourth-oldest known pair of brothers after the Andrade, the Wiener and the Riudavets brothers.

Following the unfortunate death of Eusebio Quintero Lopez, Rios García is now the oldest living Colombian and the new vice doyen of the world. I believe he is the oldest man to ever become the second-oldest living man, but I could be wrong.

Jiroemon Kimura was several months older when he became the world's 2nd oldest living man when Walter Breuning died. Heck, Mauro Ambriz Tapia was slightly older than Eusebio when Mauro became the world's 3rd oldest living man when Walter Breuning died.
