Santos Ildebrando Rivas (born 17 Aug 1911) is currently the oldest known living person from El Salvador. He is one of just three documented Salvadoran SCs, along with Lucrecia Rios (1905-2016), who died in the USA, and Sabina Garay (1912-present). His case is currently pending on LAS.

He was born in Chalatenango, El Salvador, and married Rosalina Alas in 1933. He currently lives in San Pablo Tacachico, La Libertad, El Salvador at the age of 110.

Has Mr. Rivas passed away? I saw a post on Facebook announcing Mr. Rafael Chinchilla as the oldest man in El Salvador.

Ok. Should I mention about Mr. Rivas to the guy who made the post? Just to avoid further confusion?

@aquanaut_chalk He probably forgot that Santos Rivas was still alive, so he wrote that Rafael was the oldest. However, it is not, because Rafael is currently the second oldest known living man in El Salvador...
