Maria Rita da Rocha was born in Uberaba, Minas Gerais on 21 Jul 1911, and died in Vicente Pires, Distrito Federal on 21 April 2020 at the age of 108.

She was a cousin of Juscelino Kubitschek, who was the president of Brazil from 1956 to 1961
