LongeviQuest has put Mrs Ayako Kyōtani (京谷綾子) of Yokohama, Kanagawa, Japan in limbo based on her missing from the 30 September 2026 Yokohama demographic updates. She was last confirmed alive on 16 September 2026, when she was visited by city officials. At the time of her limbo status, Mrs Kyōtani, born on 29 September 1913, was the oldest living person in Kanagawa prefecture.
