I only found one with the same name, but born in 1749 and died in 1829 is he related?

@diego Diega is not a common name in Italy (it was mainly used in Sicily Region/Southern Italy in the past times).

Conversely Diego is a common male name.

Just discovered that James Wiggins (October 15, 1880 - October 16, 1991, 111 years, 1 day) had a centenarian sister - Susie Alexander (July 4, 1886 - July 9, 1993, 107 years, 5 days). Their combined age was 217 years, 6 days.

Wiggins also had at least one centenarian son - Steven Wiggins (April 17, 1910 - January 29, 2013, age 102). Online genealogical websites also indicate that another son, Sylvester Wiggins, was born on October 30, 1915 and died sometime in 2016, but I haven't been able to find an exact date of death.

A few of James Wiggins's sisters I haven't been able to find death dates for (Louisa Venson, Mattie Benson, Minnie Wiggins, and Mary Wiggins), so there is of course the possibility that at least one of them reached 100.

Louise Signore is mentioned to have a 103 year old sister in the news video from her 107th birthday. Is it possible to find out who the sister is and when/if she died?

As of today - 17 October 2023 - Kikue Taira appears to have reached the age of 113-174.

Her sister Kame Ganeko reached 114-191.

As a result, the combined age of these two siblings reaches 228.00 years, representing an average age of 114.0 for them, a figure which as of today is still increasing.

Not only an extraordinary achievement, but a mark that is also a long way ahead of second place as shown recently on this forum.

There's been quite a few examples of siblings both becoming the oldest living person in a specific country or region (Lilian Priest & Gwen Moore), (Julie Montabord & Félicité Jandia) but here's an example an example of a near-miss that I didn't know about until recently.

Alfred Henry Hibbert was born on 3 September 1891 in London, England. One of his younger siblings was Winifred Annie Hibbert, who was born on 1 April 1895. 

In November 1998, following the death of 109-year-old David Henderson, Alfred Hibbert was briefly believed to be the UK's oldest living man, until the discovery of Harry Halford, who was a few months older. Hibbert predeceased Halford, passing away on 1 October 1999, aged 108 years and 28 days. At the time of his death, he was one of the 20 oldest men ever to live in the UK.

At this point, Winifred Hibbert was still alive, and now living in Tywyn, Gwynedd, Wales. Following the death of Wilfred Gray on 3 August 2002, she became the oldest living person in Wales by just two days - second-oldest Margaret Pritchard was born on 3 April 1895. She died on 30 September 2002, aged 107 years and 182 days.

Amelia Addari is now the oldest living person who is part of a supercentenarian siblings pair; both the Addari and Taira/Ganeko sisters are from "Blue Zones", coincidentally
