Is this how you're going to do this. I gathered it now. I acknowledged that he was ONLY "validated" by the GRG and NOT by LQ, but I hadn't thought about GWR not sending documentation at the time because I lacked knowledge still (I wasn't aware that you could apply for GWR without sending any kind of document). I'm not trying to be ignorant about these situations.Does Yu Te-Hsin not count? I know he's not validated by LQ and only validated by the GRG, but he's also recognised by the GWR.
Once again, GRG messed up, because they announced him as "validated" on their thread last year, and they removed him this year. I'm starting see how badly of a mess the organisation is and it's really annoying. Anyways, this is meant to be about the Top 10 OLM so don't want to get more off-topic.

It has been a while since a Portuguese man was part of the worldwide top 10... I believe the last time this happened was with Albano Andrade (1909-2021)?

When the young commander of the guard declared his love for her, she rejected him simply because his frivolity startled her. "See how simple he is," she told Amaranta. "He says that he’s dying because of me, as if I were a bad case of colic."

@diego Yes, with the help of LQ's extremely useful Date Simulator, I was able to confirm that the last time there was a Portuguese man in this ranking was indeed on 29 June 2021, the day Albano Andrade died (he was ranked #8 at the time of his death). The only other male Portuguese supercentenarian who died between then and now was José Martins (1912-2022), who never made the worldwide top 10 (he was ranked #17 at the time of his death).

Should Julio Borges Castillo 13 April 1913 - 3 January 2025 be added here?
Should Julio Borges Castillo 13 April 1913 - 3 January 2025 be added here?
I think he should be added here. Since Julio is listed on the LQ website as pending review, there must be enough evidence to confirm his age.
Take time to appreciate what you have.
